For 500CFA one can visit these beautiful falls and swim in the natural pools below.

- Ancient Village Ruins

Follow the path from the natural pools to find the remnants of this ancient village where you can walk through the ruins and wonder at the people who left them behind.

The natural pools located at the base of the waterfall are a refreshing place to swim or bathe.

Every four years this dance is initiated for the ceremony of circumcision. Come and intimately observe this piece of local culture.

You can simply spend your time admiring this lovely work or pick up a memory to take home.

Travel Notes

Your Auto-Taxi will take you as far as Natitingou and then you will have to take a Moto-Taxi to the falls. Prices above reflect 7 000 CFA for the Moto-Taxi.

Best time to visit

Come enjoy this natural treasure anytime, but remember that the rains come May to November.

Lodging

Camping is always an option for the adventurous traveler. The campground locate next to the site charges 1 500 CFA per night.

Auberge le Vieux Cavalier (15 km from the Falls) provides ventilated or A/C rooms and can be reached at Tel: 82-13-24 or write: BP 167, Natitingou.

Restaurants

La Buvette du Site has sandwiches and drinks for around 2 000CFA per plate.

Le Basilique (15 km from site) is located in Quartier Kantaborifa and provides local cuisine for 1 500 CFA per plate.

Le Gourmet (15 km from site) is located across the street from the Hotel Bourgogne. Available are African and European dishes breakfast, lunch and dinner for about 2 000 CFA per plate.
